The SSI Science of Diving Certification Course at The Dive Academy is available for recreational divers who desire a deeper understanding of the physics of diving, and is required training for SSI Dive Professional programs, as well as some Extended Range programs.
You will earn the SSI Science of Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.

The SSI Science of Diving course is online training and classroom only. Checkout dives are not required.
You will earn the SSI Science of Diving Specialty certification after completing this program, which may be used as a Specialty Course toward an SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification.
